The gates consist of a folding gate and two sliding gates. The running track of the folding gate, which is nearly 6000 mm wide, is hinged in the middle over a width of more than 2300 mm to allow for cable car guidance. The folding gate, coated in matte black RAL 7016, was executed at various heights due to local conditions. The gate system is equipped with an integrated access door with a minimal threshold for pedestrian traffic and is designed with sandwich panels and toughened safety glass (ESG). In addition to the specially crafted folding gate with a ‘cable car cutout,’ we also supplied a ‘double sliding gate solution’ for the Serfaus intermediate station.
