For the delivery area of the Alloheim retirement home “Stadtquartier Schlossstraße” in Mülheim an der Ruhr, ALPGATE installed a manually operated sliding folding gate that was integrated precisely into the existing opening. As it was not possible to cut into the floor, a surface-mounted, chamfered channel was used as a guide rail, which can even be driven over by a 40-tonne lorry.
The perforated panel ensures an optimal ventilation cross-section, whilst the door, despite its robust construction, operates extremely smoothly and can be moved with just two fingers.
